Sindara Steel has supplied 2300MT ERW steel pipe / Coated steel pipe to the 214 FGL flue gas pipeline construction project.

The construction project for the gas pipeline FGL 214 was carried out by a joint venture under the technical direction of the FRIEDRICH VORWERK KG (GmbH & Co.), branch office Halle/Saale during the period from June 6th, 2023 to October 21st, 2023. The 29 individual measures were spread over a distance of 219 km.
The main parts of the four switch off-sections to be built are:
Removal of insufficient coverage
Lowering works
Diagnostic measures with subsequent ResQ-procedure
Construction and removal of valve units
Installation of fitting pieces
Removal and rehabilitation of jacket pipes.
Together with our joint venture partner Einhaus Anlagenservice GmbH we were able to meet all cut-off and tie-in dates.
The extensive drainage measures which had to be prepared and operated for the individual construction measures were a particular challenge. In addition to that, the requirements due to the permanently present magnetism of the pipeline caused by the previous intelligent pigging procedure had to be met as well.
